Sliding dovetail joinery joins the top to the base to allow for seasonal wood movement. Polished brass pegs fasten the table top, and similarly, form the drawer pulls and drawer stops.
This writer’s desk offers a modest drawer for your client’s cherished writing implement, as well as a larger drawer for 8.5 x 11 paper with six partitions and a hidden compartment.
