Step 1: Info Gathering

COMPLETE THE “COMMISSION INQUIRY FORM” BELOW OR JUST EMAIL US:

A. The type of piece and specific functionality.
B. Rough dimensions.
C. Any material preferences.
D. Any image references or inspirations.
E. Any images of the intended environment.
F. Your timeframe. Our current lead time is ~90 days.

Once received, we will contact you within two business days with a feasibility assessment and budget range (within ± 20% of the project’s estimated total cost).

Step 2: PHONE or video call

We schedule a time to learn more about you, discuss your vision, and outline the project deliverables.

Step 3: IDEATION & PROPOSAL

We will create sketches and renderings to present an initial proposal that offers options, showcases creativity, and defines the project budget (within ±10% of the estimated total cost).

With your feedback, we progress to an Approved Design accompanied by a Fixed Quote. Design fees may apply to revisions beyond the initial proposal and will be credited toward the total project cost.

Step 4: Payment

A 50% deposit is required to start work, and the remainder is due upon project completion, prior delivery. Payments can be made by check or bank draft. Credit Cards incur a 3% processing fee.

Step 5: ONGOING COMMUNICATION

From material selection to the final coat of wax, we will keep you updated on your project’s progress according to your preferences. At a minimum, you can expect images or videos capturing key moments of your commission’s creation.

Step 6: Shipping/Delivery

The customer is solely responsible for shipping and delivery arrangements. We offer personal white-glove service for a fee. We are also happy to refer you to a number of carriers we have used in the past. Alternatively, picked-up at our High Point studio can be arranged.
