The Covenant Bed is a celebration of the labor and beauty of union. It is a marriage of natural material - each component held together by fit, not by force. Tedious joinery techniques reinforce its construction integrity without the use of nails or screws, which allow for signature design details: Sliding dovetail stretchers; Dowel-reinforced, haunched through-tenons; and hand-cut, polished brass pins and wedges.
The faceted headboard is set in 6-prong fashion to echo the sentiments of a solitaire gemstone. This piece, like all Kamiya works, is jewelry for you home.
Made of superior grade Walnut or Cherry and paired with hand-fashioned, polished brass accents. Hand-finished with Rubio-Monocoat; A non-toxic, 0% VOC oil finish.
